Homeless Snail Man (HSM) is a conspiracy theorist who wears tin foil hats.

Conspiracy theorists are strange people. I love strange people! Their active imagination can turn nothing into a massive link of events that eventually leads to the conclusion that the world is out to get them. Everything around conspiracy theorists is a potential threat, and somehow a thin sheet of aluminum foil will protect them. How are they not the perfect source for character inspiration?
