HSM Expressions

More Homeless Snail Man expressions. I feel like I didn't put enough thought into my past expressions and I'm really trying to push them. I'm focusing on the mouth a lot this time and using my face as reference. Some of these are really awkward...and that's perfect.

 HSM hides in his cardboard box when scared and sticks out his eye stalks if he's daring.

"A Box To Hide In"

This week in my Style and Substance class I had to illustrate the story "A Box to Hide In" by James Thurber. It's a funny story about a man who is in search for a box that he can hide in, in order to escape from the world.

Elephant Studies

Here are some studies for my elephant walk cycle. It's interesting that elephants walk on their toes while the skeleton of their foot sits on a pad of fat.
