Evolution of Design

Is the joke of a "homeless snail" really that funny to be so persistent with? Well I've stuck with this character concept for over 3 and a half years now and I'm still not "finished" with the design. The homeless snail character is an example of my own history and how I went through many different stylistic directions throughout college and work (notice the half-committed attempt at R. Crumb in those early 2011 designs...eugh!)

Back to "Kooka Macabre"

I've been jumping around back and forth between my new projects but I yanked myself back to "Kooka Macabre." Here are some new stylistic ideas of what the show will look like. I've been looking at Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, and John K. to learn more about form and "line of action." I've simplified the designs on the show in order to make them 1) easier to draw 2) better form-wise.
